Dr. Bharat Vijay Purohit is a Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Director of Cath Lab, with over 21 years of experience in clinical and interventional cardiology. He is widely recognized for his pioneering contributions to complex coronary interventions, structural heart procedures, and advancement of cardiac care in South India.
Having completed his DM in Cardiology from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, and advanced training at Washington Medical Centre (USA), Dr. Purohit has a distinguished track record in performing high-risk cardiac procedures with precision and safety.
A leader in the field, he has been instrumental in initiating TAVR programs, leadless pacemaker implants, and bioabsorbable stent procedures in the AP/Telangana region. His dedication to excellence has earned him multiple awards, including the Vaidya Shiromani Award and Times Health Award for Service Excellence in Interventional Cardiology.
